PURPOSE: The Richmond Transportation Club scholarship is intended to assist men and women in
reaching their educational goals and is awarded without regard to gender, race, age, religion,
handicap, or national origin. This scholarship is intended to encourage people to pursue a higher
education.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, an applicant must submit a letter of intent to attend a college, university,
technical or trade school within the Commonwealth of Virginia, be a member of the Richmond
Transportation Club, or be sponsored by a member. The applicant must have a grade point average
above 2.0.

The candidate must:

Complete the application
Provide an official transcript of academic performance
Include any supporting documentation such as awards, letters of recommendation, etc
Submit a letter indicating work experience, educational achievements and financial need and
career goals
Enclose a letter of recommendation from your sponsor
